Leo Carayannopoulos, Chief Executive Officer
Leo is a proven medtech CEO with 25+ years of experience in developing and launching Class II and III devices in U.S., European, and Asian markets. Previously, he was founder and CEO of Resolution Development Services, which specialized in developing and manufacturing medical devices for clients such as Laborie, Boston Scientific, Hologic, Angio Dynamics, Insulet, Analog Devices, and First Light Diagnostics. Prior to Resolution, Leo was director of engineering at Rapid Micro Biosystems and point-of-care director of engineering at Abbott, where he successfully developed and launched data management systems worldwide for blood glucose and blood gas devices. Leo currently serves as an advisory board member at the University of Vermont.

Robert Rudelius, Cofounder and Chief Financial Officer
Robert has decades of medtech experience as an investor and board member. His board experience includes publicly traded companies such as PetVivo Holdings (PETV) and Axogen (AXGN). Robert previously served as CEO of Media DVX (sold to StarNet), president/COO of Control Data Systems (sold to British Telecom), managing partner of AT&T Solutions, and a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the firm’s IT/systems practice in Japan and the U.K.

Bob Rioux, EVP Engineering and Product Development
Bob has more than 25 years of experience in developing and commercializing medical devices and capital equipment. He has 130 issued U.S. patents and has developed and commercialized medical devices in the gynecology, orthopedic, oncology, blood processing, surgical, general surgery, and wound care fields. He specializes in minimally invasive devices and the interface between the device and capital equipment, as well as electrosurgical and electromechanical devices. He previously held positions with Boston Scientific, Hologic, and Angio Dynamics.

Richard C. Carlson, EVP Sales and Marketing
Richard has more than 20 years of prostate disease market experience and has been involved in companies focused on the specialty of urology for more than 30 years. Prior to MedicaMetrix, Richard served as the CEO of ProUroCare Medical, a developer of a tactile imaging device that creates a real-time color image of the prostate. He has brought to market numerous medical devices for industry leaders such as American Medical Systems, C.R. Bard, Boston Scientific, Advanced Surgical Intervention, Medtronic, and Vicon Systems.

George Tsitsopoulos, Project Manager
George joined MedicaMetrix in January of 2022 as a Program Manager. He brings has more than 10 years of experience in medical devices. He brings with him his previous experience from Resolution Development Services as a Quality Manager for Class 2 and Class 3 medical devices. Prior to that he worked at Rapid Micro Biosystems and played critical roles with manufacturing, software, and mechanical improvements to the Growth Direct System.

Shalmali Salunke, Product Development Engineer
Shalmali joined MedicaMetrix Inc, as a Product Development Engineer in May 2021 and has been a part of the design and engineering team since then. Her work focuses on design and development of ProstaMetrix. She has a Masters in Plastics Engineering from UMass Lowell. Shalmali has worked with MedicaMetrix Inc as a product design intern in the fall of 2020. Before coming to the United States for her advanced studies, she worked at a med-tech start-up in India where she developed pilot scale-up technique for a silk-based bone implant. Shalmali graduated with a Bachelor’s in polymer engineering from Pune University and since then has pivoted her career in the medical device industry
